Our neighbor gifted us a sourdough starter. This is the second one I’ve had. The first another casualty of a messy divorce that left me unable to care for it (or myself) properly. This particular starter reigns from Vermont originally. Our neighbor calls hers Glenda. So in keeping with the mythical and cottagecore theme we narrowed down the name choices to Willa and Sylvie. ChatGPT said that Willa was the resilient kitchen companion who would never let you down. While Sylvie was the mischievous kitchen sprite. Obviously, Sylvie the Sourdough was the clear choice.
