Life, Business, and the Chaos Hurricane

It’s been a while since I’ve written here, and let me tell you—it’s not because I’ve been sitting around with extra time on my hands.

Building a business from the ground up is no joke. There’s so much that happens behind the scenes that people don’t talk about. The legal stuff, the branding decisions, the endless to-do list of setting up systems, marketing strategies, and making sure everything flows the way it should. It’s a lot. And on top of that?

I’m learning how to be both a boss babe and a present parent—which is an extreme sport, by the way.

Oh, and did I mention the high-conflict divorce? Yeah. Just to keep things interesting, I’m also navigating that.

Basically, picture a chaos hurricane of epic proportions, and I’m over here in the middle of it, building an empire and making dinner at the same time.

Not Toxic Positivity—Just Truth

I know some people roll their eyes at optimism. The whole “everything happens for a reason” thing gets labeled as toxic positivity. But here’s the truth: I’m not positive because I ignore reality. I’m positive because I choose to believe in something bigger than the struggle in front of me.

Yes, things have been messy. Heartbreaking. Infuriating. Some days, it feels like everything is working against me.

But I also know that everything I’ve gone through—everything I continue to go through—is shaping me for something greater.

The bigger picture?

I will be able to help more people. I will be able to help my own children.

They will grow up seeing that even in the hardest times, you keep going. That you don’t let the chaos define you. That you dream big, push through, and build something beautiful—even from the mess.

So if you’re in a season that feels overwhelming, just know this: it won’t be like this forever. Keep going. Keep believing. Keep building. Because one day, you’ll look back and realize that the storm wasn’t breaking you—it was preparing you.

And that’s the kind of story worth telling.
