About Trina Kay
Trina Kay is a writer whose work explores survival, identity, motherhood, and the complicated process of rebuilding a life honestly. Through personal essays and memoir-style storytelling, she writes about the moments that shape us — the ones we survive, the ones we carry, and the ones that quietly change everything.
Her writing lives at the intersection of lived experience and reflection, creating space for conversations about healing, resilience, and becoming who we are after difficult chapters. She is the author of Dismantled, a collection of essays rooted in emotional truth and personal transformation.
This space serves as both archive and invitation — a place for essays, books, and the daily rituals that support a creative life.

Rituals
Writing — and healing — both require rhythm. My days begin with movement and quiet preparation before the world gets loud, creating space for clarity and focus. Coffee comes later, intentionally, during writing, journaling, and slower weekend mornings. These rituals aren’t about productivity or perfection — they are simply the routines that help me return to myself and show up consistently as a writer and human.
